The activity I would sujest is to show the word cloud to 5 years old children. Then, they decide which are the 6-8 biggest word on it. Encourage them to try to read them, but if they struggle, just help them, and make them repeat after you.
Afterwards, the most difficult part of the activity I'm presenting today would be to give them a part of the original text. In pairs, they must find at least the 6-8 biggest words from the word cloud in the text. Maybe they can find some more... If you do this in a clas it is more complicated, but if you do it with your child you could give a treat after he/she finds each word.
Moreover, if you want the students/children to practice their writing skills, you can suggest them to take a nice piece of paper and write the words from the story they liked.
